My husband and I engaged Shinae from Freckle Architecture to do our designs and plans and were so happy with the results. Having lived in a large house on a 1,200m² block for nearly 30 years selling up, designing, and building our retirement house on a 512m² block was a daunting thought. From the first meeting to discuss our project, Shinae was very professional and thorough in gathering up all the information required and listened to our thoughts of what we wanted in the design and the brief for our new house. Concept plans were drawn up and 3D modelling made it so much easier to get the feel for the new house. Throughout the design we were consulted regularly, and Shinae made any changes to drawings without problem. Multiple designs were provided for some areas that we were undecided about. Our main requirements were to have an energy efficient house with plenty of light, an open plan with the feeling of lots of space and as much useable outdoor space as possible on a small block of land. All which Shinae managed to provide in the design. In all Shinae has achieved everything that we wanted without the stress that can often come with designing a new home. We can’t wait to finish the build and move in. Thanks so much Shinae.
